Agro Porcessing Unit

   A recent entrant in our economic programmes, but the result of a long standing belief - money in the hands of the farmers will increase only if they venture into processing of their agricultural raw material, however simple the process. So also, that a rich area alone can sustain the improvement in the lot of the farmer and make him rise above welfarism, In 2000 we began a pulses processing unit. Pulses is a commonly grown crop in the area. This unit has been supported with credit from Doen Foundation. The unit is just coming out of its initial phase.
